HALL OF FAME AWARD

The purpose of this award is to honor a single person – a parent, teacher, administrator, college professor or lay person – who has contributed most to the middle school movement. The significant difference between this award and the awards described above is primarily that this person has had an impact in the middle level movement throughout the state and possibly the country, although the latter is not a requirement. Candidates for the award must be nominated by a MAMSE member by December 1. Nomination information is available from the MAMSE Executive Director.

LOUIS G. ROMANO SCHOLARSHIP

The MAMSE Board awards $250 towards a Michigan Educational Trust account to a student from the district which hosts the Annual Conference. The award recipient is chosen by a committee from the host school. Guidelines and criteria are provided to aid the host school in making their selection.
